On Sunday 11th September, Halifax & Huddersfield RSPCA held their annual K9 Party in the Park, a fun event for both dog owners and their dogs.
One of the biggest local events of the year for pet owners, there was much to do, with a popular Fun Dog Show. Over 20 classes to enter included best condition, best elderly dog, cutest puppy, waggiest tail and fancy dress. Among the other attractions on the day were displays by Springer’s Dog Club Agility & Flyball, Hot Dog Sausage Run and fun Dogstacle Course. Medical advice was on hand from the RSPCA, Ashfield Vets and the Animal Ambulance Service.
