I spent the weekend with friendly people and very talented musicians, all making for a great atmosphere. This was the second (I think!?) Hebden Folk Roots Festival, featuring Chumbawumba, alongside a historic pairing up of two of the folk greats of their respective musical generations, Steve Tilston and Becky Unthank. Great performances were also put in by Flossie Malavialle, Roger Davies, and Ewan Maclennan.
There were also some amazingly talented young musicians, including the eclectic Maia the Band on Saturday night, and a special young talent showcase on Sunday daytime.
